“Astig Princess” Angel Guardian becomes the first “Ultimate Runner” of 'Running Man Philippines.'

Sparkle actress and singer Angel Guardian bested all the Runners to claim the title of “Ultimate Runner' for the first season of the popular and much-loved reality show Running Man Philippines.

During the nametag ripping mission of the “Running Man Superpower Battle” race last night, Angel faced Lexi Gonzales to claim the title.

And now the season has finally ended, the Kapuso actress admitted on Instagram yesterday (December 18) that she was overwhelmed with emotions and described her co-Runners as her “family.”

She posted, “Now that we're down to our last episode ramdam na ramdam ko na yung lungkot. Haaay nakakaiyak pala gumawa ng Reel!! Hahaha.

“To my co-mananakbos i just wanna say na love na love ko kayo and grateful ako sa inyo--the family that's been built during the making of RMPH is incomparable,” Angel added. “I never thought na magiging ganito kasaya at ka tight ang samahan natin. Salamat Runners!! At salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta at nagtiwala! Mahal namin kayo!!”

Glaiza De Castro, fondly called by her cast members as Boss G reacted to Angel's post and said that she misses the whole gang. “HOY TUMATAWA AT UMIIYAK AKO MAG-ISA DITO! MISS KO NA KAYO KAYA MAGKITA TAYO BUKAS.”
