Filipina actress Angel Locsin finally breaks her silence online regarding comments directed at her stepson, Joaquin Arce.

On X (formerly Twitter), the actress addressed netizens who labeled the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 housemate as a “nepo baby.”

"Bihira lang akong mag-social media ha. Pero nagulat ako sa comments ng ilang tao dito. Ano namang kasalanan ni Joaquin at naging asawa ko ang dad niya para ma-brand siya as nepo baby?" Angel wrote.

"Para namang hindi ako nag dyip o bus papuntang tapings ko dati. Kalevel ko pala si Discaya? Lol. Pero 'yung pera ko hindi galing sa nakaw."

She candidly expressed her continuous support for Joaquin's journey inside the PBB house.

"'Yung 12k na boto ko kay Joaquin sa buong journey niya, baka dagdagan ko maasar ko lang 'yung ibang makagawa ng issue," she joked. "My son could have asked me for a project, but ang hiniling nya is mag audition sa PBB. 'Wag bitter. Nakakapanget yan"

Angel married film producer Neil Arce in July 2021 and welcomed Joaquin as her stepson.

She has consistently shown support for Joaquin's PBB journey, sharing heartfelt messages online and regularly tuning in to the program.
