Angel Locsin continues to be a proud stepmom to Joaquin Arce, who has shown his growth on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
On X (formerly Twitter), the actress quoted a PBB post showing a conversation between Joaquin, Inigo Jose, and Reich Alim, expressing her pride and praising her son for maturing and becoming responsible inside the house.
“I don't usually comment, but seeing Joaquin grow from a little boy into someone who helps, listens, and keeps the peace at home makes me proud,” she said.
In addition, Angel defended Joaquin and revealed his hearing condition.
“If he ever talks a bit loud or doesn't respond, please forgive him — our son is completely deaf in his right ear,” the actress explained.

Earlier, she supported Joaquin during the housemates' punishment of carrying rule books for their violations.
Angel commented on Neil Arce's Instagram post, which featured a heartwarming clip of Joaquin during their task. In the video, Joaquin kindly asked Lee Victor to let the girls go first so he could help carry their books.
“Ako na lang magbubuhat, Joaquin! I volunteer!” Angel wrote. She added another reply, writing three heart emojis.
Joaquin is the son of film producer Neil Arce, the husband of Angel.
He is one of the Star Magic housemates on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, known as the Rising Dreamer of Muntinlupa.
