Comedienne-turned-politician Angelica Jones has been praying hard for the recovery of her Mommy Beth Jones, who is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) due to COVID-19.

Comedienne-turned-politician Angelica Jones shared on Facebook a heartfelt letter she wrote for her mom, Beth Jones, who is currently fighting for her life in the intensive care unit due to COVID-19.

The Laguna provincial board member has been pleading her friends and followers to pray for the recovery of her dear mom.

“Please CONTINUE PRAY FOR MY MOM Beth Jones and My Family 🙏🙏🙏

“In Jesus name pagagalingin ni Lord lahat ng may sakit nag Positibo sa covid.”

She also expressed her appreciation for those who have been supporting her family amid this difficult point in their lives.

“Malaking tulong po sa emotionally ,mentally , spiritually and feelings namin ni Angelo para labanan ang sakit pinagdadaanan namin ngayon.

“Salamat din po sa lahat ng patuloy pagdadasal sa aking Ina... Dalangin ko po ay makalabas ng icu ang aking Ina..ngunit nasa ICU pa po mom ko at nakaintubator PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY 🙏🙏🙏.

“I TRUST YOU LORD...

“IN JESUS NAME ...YOU WILL HEAL MY FAMILY.”

Angelica, who is also recovering from the coronavirus herself, took to social media her plea to her mom to keep fighting and holding on.

The letter reads:

“Dear Mama Beth,

“Please lumaban ka… God Loves you..

“Di ako tumutigil sa pagdasal at nakikiusap sa Panginoon na pagaling ka.

“Maghihintay kami Mama… Lord will heal you… Mahal na Mahal ka naming magkakapatid at ni Angelo.

“We Love you Mama…

“When Jesus heard this, He responded…

“Don't be afraid

“Just keep trusting and she will be healed”

Yesterday, April 18, the Department of Health (DOH) reported that 936,133 have been infected with COVID-19 in the Philippines.

DOH also announced that 72,607 people have recovered from the highly-contagious disease, bringing the number of active cases to 141,089.

With the Philippines experiencing a surge of COVID-19 infections in these past few weeks, other famous celebrities were also reported to have contracted the highly-contagious disease including Former President Joseph Estrada, Glaiza de Castro, Rhian Ramos, comedienne K- Brosas, and Ahron Villena.
