Being a barangay captain is hard and that's a fact.
Aside from tending to the needs of your constituents during the quarantine, you also have to tend to complaints from residents.
But what if that complaint is about a mythical creature roaming in your area? What do you do?
Well, for barangay captain and actress Angelika dela Cruz, it's all about laughing it off.
In an Instagram post made earlier today, April 20, Angelika shared a screenshot of a complaint she received from a resident who claims they saw a tiktik roaming around her barangay.
Tiktik is one of the Philippines' mythical creatures which is described to be a birdlike human.
According to folklore, they hunger for flesh and blood, especially that of fetuses.
Angelika wrote on her post, “Nagkagulo mga kapitbahay namin ngayon. May nakakita kaya nag sisigaw 'yun.
In the comments section, Jessa Zaragoza seems like she couldn't believe what she read while other netizens ask if the complaint is legit or not.
