Angie Mead King marks 20th anniversary since first date with wife Joey Mead King
Angie and Joey Mead King celebrated a milestone in their relationship as they marked their 20th anniversary with touching messages and nostalgic photos shared online.
"[Twenty] years in 20 slides. Happy 20 years [Joey Mead King] from the very first date I knew that you were it. From the very first selfie together who would have thought 20 years down we would be inseparable. Growing up and growing old with you has been a blessing I look forward too," Angie wrote.
Meanwhile, Joey also looked back on their beginnings as a couple, recalling memories from their first date.
"Twenty years ago [Angie Mead King and] I sat on these bar stools sharing a bottle of wine, it was our very first date night. We ended the evening ( well.. early morning) walking out of a club holding hands. Here we are 20 years on sans the wine bottle..but still holding hands. Happy Anniversary to us huney," Joey said.
The couple tied the knot in 2011. In 2016, Angie publicly came out as transgender, marking another significant chapter in their journey together.
Over the years, Angie and Joey have continued to share glimpses of their life and relationship online, often expressing gratitude for their enduring partnership.
