Even after a year since its starting date, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour remains a hit among Swifties and pop-music fans.
Unfortunately, despite having such a huge fanbase in the Philippines, Taylor was not able to add a stop in the Philippines, urging other fans, including Filipino celebrities, to fly outside the country to attend one of the biggest concerts to date.
One of them is It's Showtime host and Filipina actress Anne Curtis who flew to her homeland, Australia, to watch Taylor perform at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Taylor will be joined by American singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter.
The TV host shared snippets of her preparation ahead of Taylor's concert in Melbourne where she received the Eras Tour VIP package.
It includes four posters, a tote bag with the official poster of the tour printed on it, a pin, stickers, postcards featuring Taylor's different musical eras, a holographic VIP ticket, and a VIP card/ticket with a lanyard.
She shared it with a caption inspired by Taylor's hit song from her 2017 album Reputation, “Look What You Made Me Do.”
Fans shared their excitement on behalf of Anne's attendance at the concert and even humored the host to upload a video of her singing along to “Cruel Summer.”
A few days before the Melbourne stop, Anne shared her excitement for the Eras Tour on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by quoting Taylor's post that said, “Next stop Melbourne, Australia!”
I cannot wait!!!! 🎂🎉🥳 https://t.co/Qig5OoSnEC

Her attendance in Taylor's Eras Tour has also become an inside joke with fans because of her birthday stint/joke during a segment on It's Showtime.
Before 2023 ended, Anne even posted a reminder to OFWs about her birthday, saying she would not be in the Philippines for the Eras Tour.
Morning guys! Sa lahat ng may balak umuwi para sa birthday ko. Wala po ako. Manonood po ako kay ate @taylorswift13 🥰🤣 Next year na lang po!
