For the second year in a row, Kapuso Pop Rocker Anthony Rosaldo is set to star in another musical, this time as Roger in 9 Work Theatrical's Rent The Musical.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Anthony admitted that it was now easier for him compared to when he made his theatrical debut last year in Ang Huling El Bimbo.
“He's broke. E, I'm a happy person, so paano?”
Anthony added that he now goes to work with excitement on his shoulders not that he already has the right experience under his belt when it comes to performing on stage.
Hindi na kagaya noon,” he said.
I know the language na, I can practice the things that I learned from my previous production.
“Parang nasa ibang place na ako ngayon.”
Rent tells the story of a group of young artists and their struggles to survive and create a life in Lower Manhattan's East Village. Some of the show's songs are “La Vie Boheme,” “Seasons of Love,” and “Take Me or Leave Me.”
Tickets for Rent The Musical are now available on Ticket2Me.com. The show opens on April 20 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium of RCBC Plaza in Makati.
