Kapuso singer Anthony Rosaldo is looking forward to a fresh musical direction after officially signing with GMV Studios.
Kapuso singer and theater actor Anthony Rosaldo is looking forward to a new chapter in his music career after officially signing with GMV Studios, the joint venture between GMA Network and Viva Entertainment.
During his contract signing on June 5, Anthony admitted that joining the label brought him a sense of relief after waiting years for the opportunity to materialize.
"Sa akin, right away, ano siya, sigh of relief. Kasi matagal ko itong hinintay, and I patiently waited, nag-pray ako na sana Viva na 'yung next na makaka-partner ko with my music," he said.
According to Anthony, he was first presented as a potential artist for GMV Studios around two years ago. Since then, he had hoped that a partnership with Viva would eventually push through, citing the company's experience and capabilities in the music industry.
"So sobrang happy ko na natuloy na itong venture na ito," he added.
Now officially part of the label, Anthony said he is eager to explore a different sound and reintroduce himself to listeners through music that resonates with a younger audience.
"Looking forward ako sa pagbabago ng branding ng music ko," he said.
Known for his ballads and pop songs, Anthony believes he has already showcased his vocal abilities through the years and is now ready to try something new.
"This time I would like to focus on songs na marami ang makaka-relate, especially the Gen Z's na talagang sila 'yung market na nagpapasikat ng mga kanta nowadays," he said.
The singer added that he hopes to release tracks that sound fresh, youthful, and easy for audiences to sing along to. He also expressed confidence that Viva's roster of songwriters can help him achieve that goal.
GMV Studios was launched as a collaboration between GMA Network and Viva Entertainment to develop and promote music talents across various genres and platforms.
