Kapuso Pop Rocker Anthony Rosaldo was emotional at the end of the press preview of 9Works Theatrical's Liwanag Sa Dilim on March 6 in Makati City.

Anthony is alternating the role of Elesi, an orphan who is on a quest to uncover the secrets of his past, with fellow Kapuso star Khalil Ramos.

"May hugot ako rito, as in the whole act 2 is so heavy. I think, nilagay ko in front of me that situation but again, I think, I can see different situations differently," he said to GMANetwork.com and other Kapuso press after the preview.

"If it's something na malungkot, make good use of it, inspire people, come out of that sadness and touch other people's hearts. And, I'm happy I was able to use that dark, dark, sad, sad time of my life."

Before the start of each show, Anthony says a little prayer and offers his performance to his late father and brother.

"I think that is also one big reason why I did something nice on stage talaga," he ended.

Liwanag Sa Dilim will be showing on all weekends from March 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and 8:00 p.m. on Fridays, at the CPR Auditorium, RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
