Kapuso singer and stage actor Anthony Rosaldo welcomed the New Year by pranking his fellow Kapuso stars.
Going around backstage during the Kapuso Countdown to 2026, he pretended to interview fellow performers but deliberately mumbled parts of his questions, making them vague and incomprehensible.
This type of mumble interview prank was popularized by content creator Easton Simpson, who tried it on random people on the street as well as professional golfers from the PGA.

Anthony's victims included award-winning actor and PBB alum Will Ashley, who initially scratched his head in confusion but eventually realized it was a prank and responded with an equally vague and incomprehensible answer.
Anthony also pranked former PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 housemate Eliza Borromeo, who looked confused and giggled adorably at his nonsensical question.
How did AZ Martinez, Betong Sumaya, Marco Masa, Rocco Nacino, and Charlie Fleming fare during Anthony's prank?
Aside from pranking his colleagues, Anthony also spent the New Year as one of the performers at GMA's annual Kapuso Countdown.
He opened the show alongside Christian Bautista and John Rex as they sang “Soda Pop” by the Saja Boys from the hit animated movie K-Pop Demon Hunters.
Anthony also performed KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde's “Palagi” in a duet with Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre star Angel Guardian.
