Antoinette Taus

Antoinette Taus wrote a sweet tribute to remember her late mother on her birthday.

Actress and environmental advocate Antoinette Taus took to Instagram to remember her late mother Cora on her birthday.

She shared a few photos of her mother and revealed a few random bits about her life.

"She is CORA. Born July 2, 1955. Today and every day, we honor the eternal force of her love in all that we do," Antoinette opens her post.

Antoinette lost her mother in 2004 due to cancer. Despite that, Antoinette shares that her mother lived a full life.

"I call her superwoman. There is nothing in this world she couldn't do or face. She traveled the world and made all her life wishes come true, some for herself and through the life journey of her children. But one thing she always emphasized was the importance of family and complete faith in God. That was her superpower," she wrote.

She also revealed that her mother was a great influence on the career path she chose.

"She lived out her dreams through her children. For as long as I can remember, I've been singing and performing every chance possible - in school, family gatherings and even in commercials since the age of 4. Miss Universe was a goal until I stopped growing at the age of 13. Haha," she shared.

Antoinette even named her non-profit organization, CORA or Communities Organized for Resource Allocation after her.

"Charity work, generosity, and her deep commitment to living for others was always what she was most well-loved and known for. She always emphasized the importance of remembering what truly matters in this world - living for others. All I have ever wanted in life is to be just like her...as a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, entrepreneur, and philanthropist," Antoinette says.

Antoinette has lived her life with the guidance of her mother even after she has gone.

"I miss you mommy....every single second of every hour of every day. But I know these are God's wishes, and more than ever, my faith is deeply steadfast. I'm still here, still standing, living my life with you in mind every step of the way," she wrote.

She became recipe master, CEO and founder of our family restaurant - Angeles Fried Chicken. I call her super woman. There is nothing in this world she couldn't do or face. She traveled the world and made all her life wishes come true, some for herself and through the life journey of her children. All I have ever wanted in life is to be just like her...as a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, entrepreneur and philanthropist. We lost mommy in August of 2004, after 8 months of courageously battling cancer. As much as it hurt so deeply, I faithfully accept God's wishes always - the way she would have also always wanted me to.
