
Kapuso Action Heartthrob Anton Vinzon is gaining attention for his intense preparation for his upcoming GMA series, Kamao.
Recent behind-the-scenes clips shared by his talent management, Sparkle, show the actor training in boxing, working through pad drills and footwork routines.
Anton has been training for months to sharpen his physical skills and build the discipline needed for the series, where he will play Makmak, a young boxer.
He is also set to perform his own stunts, bringing a more authentic feel to the fight scenes. Fans online have noted his more serious look and improved physique, pointing to the effort he has put into the role.
Kamao is already in production under GMA Entertainment Group and will soon air on GMA Afternoon Prime. It is directed by L.A. Madridejos and Richard Arellano, with associate director Kevin De Vela.
The series also stars Bruce Roeland, Katrina Halili, Amy Austria, Neil Ryan Sese, Wendell Ramos, and Anton's father, Roi Vinzon. Also part of the cast are Chanty Videla, Therese Malvar, Matt Lozano, and content creators Abdul and Marsy.
