Apo Hiking Society is returning to Cebu for a special homecoming!
After fifty years, the Apo Hiking Society is back where it all started.
Prepare for a homecoming celebration with timeless hits at Coming Home: Apo Hiking Society at 50 Years on January 17, 8:00 pm, at the Pacific Grand Ballroom, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
The iconic OPM group, first launched as The Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, held its historic farewell concert at the Meralco Theater in 1973.
Boboy Garrovillo, Jim Paredes, and Danny Javier returned a year later as Apo Hiking Society.
Apo Hiking Society's first major professional concert was held in Cebu, which became a huge success.
Since then, the group considered Cebu as their "second home."
