After much ado, Zul manages to go to the Philippines and look for Cheryl. Will he have any luck finding her? And if he does, will Cheryl take him back again?
Lukas summons the courage to confess his feelings for Cheryl, and he is overjoyed to know she feels the same way for him. But while Lukas rejoices, his cousin Jaime feels betrayed. Anguished, Jaime makes Cheryl choose between him and Lukas. His heart breaks when Cheryl chooses Lukas over him.
Depressed, Jaime points Cheryl’s whereabouts to a man he mistook for her brother. But realizing it’s her assassin, Jaime hurries to Manila to warn Lukas and save Cheryl’s life. George, Cheryl’s brother, has also arrived in the country and is bent on finding Cheryl. But as he rushes to Manila to save his sister, he meets an accident himself and lands in the hospital.
Unfortunately, Jaime does not get to the city in time to help Cheryl evade death. Upon his arrival, he learns that she is in the hospital and is in a coma. As he and Lukas both pray for her well-being, Jaime acknowledges Lukas’s love for Cheryl and gives way to their blossoming relationship.
Cheryl awakes, and with her revival comes the return of her memory.
Certain her family is worried, she considers returning to Malaysia but Lukas makes her think twice. Unknown to them, her assassin is still lurking around, waiting for a chance to have her dead. Can anyone save Cheryl if her life is threatened once again?
Meanwhile, Lukas’s in-laws are still adamant about taking Joshua into their custody. They try to take the child peacefully, but Lukas continues to refuse. Now, they are more than determined to have Joshua by hook or by crook.
