Binibining Pilipinas 2013 titleholder and Miss Universe Philippines national director, Ara Arida, has expressed her full support for Bea Millan-Windorski's Miss Universe journey.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the former beauty queen shared her strong confidence in Bea as the country's representative for the Miss Universe 2026 competition, which will take place in Puerto Rico later this year.
Ara said, "Of course, we have high hopes for her. Our goal is to really get our crown in Miss Universe, and we're so happy because the judges really did a great job of picking our representative."
She also praised Bea for her determination, humility, and strong work ethic despite already possessing the qualities needed to compete internationally.
“Knowing Bea, she has been very determined from the start. She has the physique, all the skills, and all the capabilities but she remains very humble," she added.
According to Ara, humility and compassion are important qualities that make a beauty queen truly successful.
“That's what I'm really looking for in a queen na alam kong magiging successful yung isang queen kapag hardworking and, at the same time, she really has a heart. Bea has a humble heart."
Ara also revealed that Bea has been busy attending events and interviews as part of her preparations, but continues to show dedication and passion in everything she does.
“She's very active and hardworking. You can really feel how much effort she puts into her work, so we're very supportive of her. And with her character, we really have high hopes that she can make it."
