A year later, Ara Mina looks back at her engagement with Dave Almarinez: “Isa sa mga answered prayers ko and every girl's dream. Isa sa 'di ko makakalimutan na milestone ng buhay ko.”
Actress Ara Mina and her husband, Dave Almarinez, celebrated their first engagement anniversary yesterday, January 12.
To mark the special occasion, the actress shared a series of photos showing her romantic date with her spouse, and some throwback snaps during their marriage proposal at San Pedro, Laguna.
According to the 42-year-old star, this momentous event was one of her “answered prayers.”
She wrote in her post, “A year ago today (1/12/21). Isa sa mga answered prayers ko and every girl's dream. Isa sa 'di ko makakalimutan [na] milestone ng buhay ko.
“Happy Engagement Anniversary, my husband. Love you bebe @davealmarinez. #AraMina #DaveAlmarinez #TeamDarve #AraandDaveTheProposal #SanPedroCity”
On the same day, Dave also dedicated a heartfelt message for Ara Mina to celebrate their engagement anniversary.
He wrote, “Isang taon na ang nakaraan ngayong araw ng ako ay mag-propose sa iyo. Tunay na ikaw nag nagbigay saya, sigla at katiyakan sa aking buhay bebe ko. Naks.
“This day is truly special. The Probinsyana at The Probinsyano.”
Before ending his post, he added a sweet pick-up line for his beloved wife through the words, “Sana kalendaryo tayo, kasi araw-araw sure may DATE ako sa iyo bebe ko.”
On April 28, 2021, Ara and Dave marked their engagement by releasing some of their romantic prenuptial photographs taken at the breathtaking islands of Culion, Palawan.
The lovely couple officially became husband and wife as they exchanged their “I do's” in a beautiful wedding ceremony at Alphaland Baguio Lodges Chapel on June 30, 2021.
