Derrick Monasterio and Elle Villanueva finally speak up about their current relationship status!

In an interview with Cata Tibayan on Chika Minute, the stars of the afternoon series Return to Paraidse admitted that they enjoy each other's company but are not a couple yet. The two have been seen sweet to each other off camera and go out together outside their work schedule.

“We just enjoy each other's company and time and masaya lang kami 'pag lumalabas kami,” Derrick said, adding that they each like each other's company.

Elle agrees with Derrick saying: “Go with the flow lang, but we're not closing doors."

This is not the first time netizens and fans have noticed the sweetness between DerElle, the term fans use for their love team.

Elle recently posted a series of photos of her and her on-screen partner on Instagram and fans expressed their 'kilig' for the two, even mentioning how the two Sparkle artists look good together.

Meanwhile, Elle expressed how sweet Derrick is when she told a story of the actor getting her the speakers she always wanted.

“Antagal ko nang gustong bumili ng speakers tapos in-add to cart ko na. Tapos the next day, late yung call time niya tapos nag text niya sa'kin, 'I got something for you,' tapos binili niya yung speakers. Sabi ko 'ang sweet naman ng lalaking ito,'” she said.

Derrick explained his gesture saying that he only wanted to make Elle happy as it also made him happy.

He also revealed the sweetest gesture Elle has done for him when she wiped off his sweat and brought him breakfast.

As for their show's finale, the two promised a lot of twists and revelations as Return to Paradise draws to a close. “Magugulat kayo kung gaano katindi yung mangyayari,” Derrick said.
