American singer and songwriter Ariana Grande sets the record straight after rumors of her quitting music circulated online.
In a recent Instagram post, the Wicked star reassured fans that she has no plans of quitting music despite juggling multiple projects.
"Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things, that I plan to abandon singing [and] music," she wrote. "It is and has always been my lifeline. There will need to be room made for all of it."
Ariana acknowledged that her journey may seem different now, but made it clear that her passion remains the same.
"It may not look exactly like it did before but I much prefer how it looks in my head," she added. "I am having fun. I feel grateful and excited and inspired. Finding a balance between many projects and endeavors I love, and doing it my own way."
To make her stand even clearer, the pop superstar left fans thrilled with a little tease.
"So I'm working on a plan to sing for you all next year. Even if it's just for a little. I love you."
Alongside the heartfelt message was a video montage featuring her past performances of her hits "Into You" and "yes, and?"
Followers flooded the comments with love and support, including fellow artist Troye Sivan.
Meanwhile, Ariana continues to conquer the music film industry as she recently joined the cast of the animated adaptation of the 1990 Dr. Seuss book Oh, The Places You'll Go! This follows her starring role in Wicked. The second part of the musical is set to premiere later this year.
As a singer, Ariana made her musical comeback in 2024 with the release of Eternal Sunshine. The studio album marked her return after four years since the release of Positions.
