Versatile actress and host Arra San Agustin will be showcasing a different side as she steps into the shoes of Sugar in the brand-new rom-com series My Ilonggo Girl.

Arra will be working alongside Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward and primetime heartthrob Michael Sager in this new project, which will premiere on January 13.

Ever since Arra participated in the reality-based artista search StarStruck in 2015, she was consistently given the opportunity to hone her craft as an artist.

She bagged roles in series like Madrasta (2019), Lolong (2022), and in the hit telefantasya series Mga Lihim ni Urduja (2023).

The Sparkle beauty also became part of GMA's flagship gag show Bubble Gang and flexed her hosting skills in Tahanang Pinakamasaya.

With all these opportunities given to her, Arra is extremely grateful for the trust given to her by her home network.

During the panel interview of My Ilonggo Girl grand media conference held last January 9, she said, “I'm always grateful por being given different set of characters na puwede ko laruin, puwede ko i-explore. Kasi, through my characters iba't-ibang buhay yan ng tao, so, marami rin ako natutunan sa bawat role na tini-take ko po or bawat role na ginagampanan ko.

“Sobrang na-appreciate ko pa rin 'yung GMA and my management for always trusting me with projects, hindi nawawalan. So, I'm very-very blessed and I don't want ever to take this for granted.”
