Kapuso leading lady Arra San Agustin admitted to being workaholic in an exclusive interview with Unang Hirit host Suzi Abrera on Monday, July 20.
The actress shared that she was greatly affected by the community quarantine since she's confined in her home with a lot of free time in her hands.
She used to be so busy with work and she loved putting her time and effort into various work-related activities.
“Hindi na ako magkandaugaga sa mga uunahin kong gagawin. Alam mo 'yung sobrang busy ka kapag may trabaho ka?
"Sanay na sanay ka nang dire-diretso. Workaholic kasi ako, e. Ayaw ko nang natetengga ako or ayaw ko ng mga free time. As much as possible, gusto ko 'yung wala akong tulog, 'yung pagod ako.
“Mas nag-e-enjoy ako du'n kasi feeling ko may use ako, parang productive.
"So nitong nag-quarantine, parang shucks, wala akong magawa. Ang dami kong oras, anong gagawin ko sa oras na 'to? Tapos confined ka pa in your house,” she said.
Since she doesn't like being unproductive at all, Arra used the quarantine period to stay active and learn new skills.
“So, ang dami kong naisip na pwedeng gawin. Nag-start ako with baking, playing musical instrument, 'yon. I learned the basics of ukulele… until now, basics pa rin naman. It's just that I learned a few more songs.
“Siguro two years ago ko binili 'yung instrument ko. And then I started learning via YouTube. Tapos ngayon parang pampakalma lang o pampa-relieve ng stress,” she added.
The Taste MNL host likewise related that she has enrolled in an online baking class on July 18.
Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com on May 15, the actress said that she's eager to make up for the days that she was not working because of the existing community quarantine policy from the government.
“I wanna work," said Arra, adding, "Gusto ko na agad bumalik sa trabaho, gusto ko mabawi yung mga araw na hindi ako nakapagtrabaho."
Despite the COVID-19 situation in the Philippines, Arra San Agustin has still a lot to be thankful for.
