Ashley Ortega just dropped a new hair reveal!

In an Instagram post, Ashley shared a clip of her hair transformation, featuring a dramatic lip sync to Talking Heads' “Psycho Killer” as she cuts her hair into micro bangs for her upcoming series Apoy sa Dugo.

The actress shows a darker side in the video, waking up in the middle of the street before wandering and running around the area.

“Who's ready for a new Ash? #ApoySaDugo,“ she wrote in the caption.

In the comments section, her fellow ex-PBB housemate Kira Balinger and Hating Kapatid star Cassy Legaspi showed support and cheered for Ashley's new role.

“SEATED!!!” Kira wrote.

“THIS IS IT Y'ALL,” Cassy commented.

In a previous interview with GMA Network.com, Ashley revealed that her role in the upcoming series was her “dream role.”

“Actually, excited na talaga akong i-ere ito sa GMA, for next year pa kami. But nako ang dami nilang aabangan kasi kakaibang Ashley ang makikita nila dito, a different Ashley, a different look actually rin. Iba 'yung itsura ko dito,” she shared.

“It's actually my dream role, so isa siyang psychopath, 'yung character na ipo-portray ko,” she added.

She admitted that her character required massive research, but she remains grateful to portray someone with a mental health condition, as she supports mental health awareness.

“Parang it's nice na mapapakita natin 'yung point of view kung saan nanggagaling talaga 'yung mga taong may mga personal disorder,” Ashley explained.

Joining Ashley in Apoy sa Dugo are Elle Villanueva, Derrick Monasterio, Pinky Amador, and Ricardo Cepeda.
