One trend that's popped up due to the enhanced community quarantine is the "Front Cam Photo Shoots" where models pose for photographers through FaceTime, Zoom, or other video messaging apps.
Kapuso artists Ashley Ortega and Derrick Monasterio joined "The Frontcam Series" by online lifestyle mKINagazine ESCAPE to The Palace.
Take a look at their shots below:
According to ESCAPE, through their photo series, they aim to inspire others to "continue creating" despite these uncertain times.
"People adapt to difficult situations differently. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with using this alone time for much-needed rest and relaxation, for some, the only way to survive this unnerving situation is to continue creating.
"For this special feature, /ESCAPE presents The Frontcam Series. A concept involving our favorite influencers and digital creatives with images and stories produced through an online photoshoot via Zoom with the creative direction of photographer Mike Gella. In the cover story, they share how creating helps them stay sane in this time of imperative isolation."
Ashley and Derrick were also joined by other artists and creatives such as Alex Diaz, Katarina Rodriguez, and Issa Pressman in ESCAPE's "The Frontcam Series."
