Ashley Rivera couldn't help but feel blessed whenever she's invited to host 'Chika Minute,' the entertainment segment in GMA's primetime newscast, 24 Oras, on behalf of Iya Villania.

Ashley Rivera already substituted for Iya Villania four times, and these all happened when the wife of Biyahe ni Drew host Drew Arellano was pregnant.

Ashley Rivera's last guest appearance in 24 Oras was on September 4, the same day when Iya Villania revealed that she's expecting her fifth child with Drew.

The Sparkle artist, who is also known as "Petra Mahalimuyak," jested on Instagram, "Ako na may napala sa pagiging chismosa."

In the comments, a netizen made a hilarious remark about Ashley's coincidental guest appearances in 24 Oras. "Pahiwatig pag lumalabas lagi si Ashley, buntis si Iya hehe," the comment read.

In an exchange with GMANetwork.com at the story conference of the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series Binibining Marikit where she is part of, the comedienne-actress made fun of her own Chika Minute stints.

"Siyempre, masaya ko kasi blessing 'yan sa pamilya nila at blessing din 'yan sa aming mga guest anchors na parang 'Yes, buntis na naman si Iya. Makakapasok na naman ako sa 24 Oras,'" the comedienne-actress jokingly said.

Ashley admittedly has always been eager to stand-in for Iya Villania whenever she needs to take a break during her pregnancies.

"I'm always ready for service kapag buntis si Iya. Alam n'yo na kapag hindi kayang pumasok ni Iya, heto na Ashley pasok," the Kapuso star uttered in a humorous way.

Ashley Rivera is part of the supporting cast of Binibining Marikit, to be headlined by Herlene Budol and Pokwang.

Binibining Marikit will also star Tony Labrusca, Cris Villanueva, Almira Muhlach, Thea Tolentino, John Feir, Jeff Moses, and Migs Almendras.

Binibining Marikit will be directed by Jorron Lee Monroy under GMA Entertainment Group.
