If you're fond of taking selfies or having your photos taken, you've probably experienced at least once having an output that was far from what you have imagined. In the online world, this experience can be perfectly summed up by the phrase “expectation vs. reality.”

Sometimes we see a photo we'd like to recreate or clearly envision in our minds how we would like our photos to come out. However, there are times when our expectations just don't meet reality.

This seems to be the case for TikTokerist Betty Mae Labadia of South Cotabato, who recently went viral for her hilarious “epic fail” photoshoot.

In her guest appearance on 'On Record,' Betty Mae said she and her friends would often get inspiration or pegs for their photoshoots from pictures that they see online.

But what she can't fathom is why her photos often don't come out as good as their pegs.

“Nakita ko po 'yun siya sa ano, sa YouTube, sa mga TikTok-TikTok din.

“'Yon, nakita ko. 'Ay, ang gaganda pala.' Ganun. Gawin namin.

“Tapos, 'pag ako gumawa, ginawa namin po...'yung may tubig-tubig, kahit 'yung sa lupa-lupa, ganun po.

“Tapos sabi namin, 'Hala, Bakit ganun 'yung output?' Tapos 'yung ginaya namin sa YouTube maganda.”

Aside from being a TikTokerist and an aspiring model, Betty Mae is also the breadwinner in their household. So, she has a number of different side hustles including being a makeup artist, a manicurist, choreographer, and house cleaner.

So, to grant her wish of having professional-looking photos, 'On Record' tapped a professional photographer to do a pictorial with the 22-year-old trans model.

During her photoshoot with 'On Record,' Betty Mae wore the same gorgeous, yellow flowy maxi dress she rocked in her TikTok video, and showed the world what she's got.

Betty Mae did some iconic model poses such as the “Sakit Ulo” pose, “Sakit Ngipin” pose, and “Sakit Tiyan” pose.

She also challenged 'On Record' hosts Mav Gonzales and Oscar Oida to do the same poses.
