
After months of battling stage 4 cancer, comedian Ate Gay has reached a major milestone after completing his chemotherapy treatments.
“Yeheyyy nalagpasan ko ang pagduduwal, walang panlasa.. now nakakain na nang bongga.. graduate na ako sa chemo,” Ate Gay shared joyfully in a Facebook post on Tuesday, November 4.
The comedian, whose real name is Gil Aducal Morales, expressed deep gratitude to everyone who has supported and prayed for his recovery. “15 days radiation na lang then immunotheraphy (12 sessions every 21 days).. Salamat po sa mga dasal nyo, lumalaban ako,” he added.
According to Ate Gay, his treatment journey will continue with radiation therapy and immunotherapy sessions in the coming weeks.
The well-loved performer, best known for his spot-on impersonation of the late superstar Nora Aunor, first revealed his stage 4 cancer diagnosis during an interview with Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho last September.
Just last month, Ate Gay shared an encouraging update that the lump on his neck had almost disappeared, giving fans and supporters even more reason to celebrate his progress and continue sending prayers his way.
