ATEEZ

Check out the level-up evolution of Digimon: Adventure's official soundtrack courtesy of K-pop boy group ATEEZ.

From the anime series that gave birth to the fiery Agumon and the cute Patamon, Fuji TV will be releasing the animated series “Digimon Adventure” next month.

Adding more excitement with its upcoming premiere is the news that K-pop boy group ATEEZ will be singing the ending theme song of the anime.

On Thursday, June 24, ATEEZ gave a 30-second sneak peek on YouTube of the title track "Dreamers," which is also the name of their first Japanese single album.

In a report by K-entertainment website Soompi, "Dreamers" is described as an uplifting song with a hopeful message about chasing your dreams.

ATEEZ is an eight-member group launched by KQ Entertainment which debuted in 2018.

They are composed of Kim Hong-joong, Park Seong-hwa, Jeong Yun-ho, Kang Yeo-sang, Choi San, Song Mingi (Min-gi), Wooyoung, and Choi Jong-ho.

Unfortunately, ardent fans of the group will be missing Mingi's performance for now, after Soompi released a statement from KQ Entertainment in February 2021 that he will remain on hiatus.

According to the article, Mingi is focusing on his treatment due to psychological anxiety.

Parts of KQ Entertainment statement reads:

“Mingi halted his official activities last November and has been focusing on counseling treatment. He has been undergoing treatment while resting, and currently he is recovering a sense of psychological stability compared to when he halted activities. Therefore, ahead of the release of this album, we spoke to Mingi, his parents, and the psychology counselor about the state of his recovery and him resuming activities, and it was agreed that there has been much progress through the counseling treatment.

“However, it was decided that he will focus a bit more on recovery as everyone agreed that him returning when his health is not completely recovered could also cause more worry in the long term for the ATEEZ members including Mingi and for ATINY.”
