
Ateneo de Davao University has opened its doors for a public viewing of the late student-athlete Rene Baterbonia, allowing the community to pay their final respects.
Rene Baterbonia's remains currently lie in state at the Ateneo de Davao University Senior High School campus in Bangkal, Davao City.
A native of Talacogon, Agusan del Sur, Rene Baterbonia is an alumnus of Ateneo de Davao.
In a Facebook post, the university announced the schedule for the public viewing:
• June 12 (Friday) - 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• June 13 (Saturday) - 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• June 14 (Sunday) - 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The university has also scheduled Holy Masses at the Christ the King Chapel at 6:00 p.m. from June 12 to 14.
Visitors are required to present valid identification cards upon entry, while the use of plastic materials inside the campus is strictly prohibited.
Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili were among those who lost their lives in a drowning incident during a team-building activity in Dipaculao, Aurora.
