Battle of the Judges kicked off the championship round called "The Ultimate Battle" with a production number featuring the battle judges for the first time this season.
Boy Abunda, Bea Alonzo, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, and Jose Manalo gave a spectacular opening performance, together with Battle of the Judges host Alden Richards and the seven grand finalists.
They set the battle stage on fire, with Ms. Annette and Bea singing their own rendition of Dua Lipa's "Dance The Night" while Boy, Jose, and Alden grooved to P-Pop group SB19's smash single "Gento."
On her Instagram account, Ms. Annette shared snippets from her and Bea's duet by recording it through livestream, saying it is her "one and only production number." The GMA Senior Vice President wore a Francis Libiran creation during the opening.
In the comments, the GMA top executive and Philippine entertainment industry leader received greetings from several artists after her first production number on TV was aired.
In the latest episode of Battle of the Judges, three out of the seven finalists performed. They were: The Power Impact Dancers from judge Annette's squad, Joseph Valerio from Bea's squad, and JB Dela Cruz from Jose's squad.
The championship round of Battle of the Judges continues next Saturday, September 30, 7:15 p.m. after Pepito Manaloto on GMA and online via Kapuso Stream.
