French-Canadian singer Avril Lavigne is heating up the summer as she posts rare photos of her in a bikini.
The 36-year-old musician wrote "Summer in Malibu" in a photo dump of her hanging out on a poolside in a green bikini.
The post has reached over a million likes, with Filipino TV personality Fifth Solomon included in the top comments saying, "HOY IDOL KITA NUNG GRADE 6 AKO. dahil sayo naging sk8er Boi ako… lods lods."
Avril rose to fame when she was just 15 after appearing on stage with singer Shania Twain. A year later, she signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records worth over $2 million. She is the voice behind the hit songs "Complicated," "Sk8er Boi," "My Happy Ending," "Girlfriend," "I'm with You," among others.
The singer was supposed to perform in Manila for her “Head Above Water World Tour,” which was first announced in 2019 and was supposed to initially happen in 2020. The concert has been rescheduled to May 2, 2022.
In recent years, Avril has revealed her battle with tick-borne illness Lyme disease, the same condition that singer Justin Bieber is suffering from.
