AZ Martinez recalls her fulfilling adventure in 'Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition.'
Everything still feels surreal for Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition final housemates as they continue to receive overwhelming love and support from the outside world!
One of them, AZ Martinez, was still riding the PBB fever as she looked back on her life-changing journey inside the iconic house.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, AZ, who was called "Ang Miss Sunuring Daughter ng Cebu," shared photos from the Big Night and penned a touching message.
"Laging aahon, malakas man ang alon," she wrote.
"I remember auditioning with no expectations. I didn't think I'd even make it as a housemate. Isa lang 'tong pangarap na akala ko hanggang imagination lang. Until one day, it was official!"
AZ recalled her four-month stay inside the PBB house as a transformative period filled with lessons and emotional growth.
"Known as the 'strong one' in my family, for the first time I allowed myself to be soft, to be weak, to be vulnerable, to be human. And that changed me.
"I poured so much of myself into this experience. I got to know parts of me I had ignored for so long. And because of Kuya, the housemates, and the challenges, I came out a different kind of strong. They didn't just see me, they stood by me, believed in me, and helped me believe in myself again."
The Kapuso star described the Big Night as a surreal, dream-come-true moment after seeing the massive support that awaited her on the outside world.
"The second I stepped outside, nakita ko kayo. The banners, the LED signs, the cheers… May bus. May billboard. May truck. Sabi ko, 'Grabe.. dati pangarap ko lang 'to.' I was frozen, overwhelmed, and filled with gratitude. Hindi ko alam kung anong uunahin, umiyak, ngumiti, or tumitig lang sa lahat ng pagmamahal na bumungad sa akin."
AZ extended her gratitude to everyone who stood by her throughout the journey. She also thanked GMA Network and ABS-CBN for the support and opportunity they gave in PBB.
"To every fan, every new family we found through this journey, thank you for showing up for us, for believing in me, in our duo, and for making the impossible feel possible. I fought inside the house, but seeing how you fought for us out here, grabe. Kayo ang dahilan kung bakit umabot kami sa dulo. Kayo ang dahilan kung bakit natupad yung mga pangarap namin ni River (Joseph)."
The Big Four placer warmingly concluded, "This may have been the first, but because of all of you, I'm walking away with something so much more: faith, family, and the courage to keep dreaming out loud. Mahal na mahal ko kayo. Maraming salamat sa tiwala."
Friends and fans alike quickly took the comment sections to express their love and support to AZ. Many also took notice one of PBB's Big Four winners, Ralph de Leon, also sent a heartwarming comment at the post.
"Couldn't be more proud," he wrote.
Meanwhile, other celebrities such as Xyriel Manabat and Ivana Alawi also expressed their love to AZ with heart reactions.
AZ and River (AzVer) placed as 4th Big Placers while Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca (BreKa) were hailed the Big Winners!
