Baby Tali beat Jose Mari Chan in singing the Christmas carols! The adorable two-year-old daughter of Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna couldn't wait for September and started singing Christmas tunes as early as August.
In Filipino culture, the Christmas season begins in September and it is most often marked by the playing of Christmas jingles popularized by Jose Mari Chan.
This time, however, Tali overtook the singer-songwriter and sang her animated version of the holiday classic, “Santa Claus is coming to town.” She impressed further by making ad libs in between stanzas, and she ended her performance with a greeting.
“Merry Christmas, everyone,” Tali said.
Pauleen shared Tali's video and quipped, “Sorry, inunahan niya na po si Jose Mari Chan.”
