'Kingdom' star Bae Doona and 'Train To Busan' actor Gong Yoo join forces in this Korean sci-fi series that will premiere on Netflix on December 24.
K-drama royalties Gong Yoo and Bae Doona will be working together in The Silent Sea, a story about a space crew that will explore the abandoned Balhae Lunar research station.
The trailer of this Sci-fi mystery thriller starring the Train To Busan actor and Kingdom actress electrified fans around the globe.
Netflix shared the synopsis of this new series dropping on Christmas Eve, December 24, which offered a sneak peek of the dangers facing the characters.
“An abandoned lunar base
A mission with a 10% survival rate
One by one, crew members end up dead.”

According to reports, Choi Hang-yong wrote and directed a short film in 2014 titled The Sea of Tranquility, which was the basis of this new Netflix series. The Silent Sea could potentially give another hit for the video-streaming platform.
Currently, they are basking on the success of Squid Game, which catapulted lead actors Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-joon, and Jung Ho-yeon to become global superstars.
