During the third week of 'Bai Ling Tan', Han Sheng learns how to cast spells and control them.
During the third week of Bai Ling Tan, Chun Yao saw Han Sheng's potential and ability to cast and master spells and made her study how to do them.
At the school, Han Sheng met Si Tong who disapproves of Chun Yao's ruling power and wanted to kill her. Kong Qi goes to her aid but the arrogant Si Tong bullies him and his father for being a follower of Chun Yao. Before everything went to chaos, Wuyin arrives and punishes them all by making them copy the scriptures.
With the coming-of-age ceremony coming up, Xiaoshan, their teacher, shared with Han Sheng that she needs to be able to control the heart demon to pass the test. During the ceremony, Han Sheng was trapped in a box and panicked. But Chun Yao played the flute outside to make her realize that she was just trapped inside the heart demon. Upon this realization, she escapes and passes the test.
It was Kong Qi's turn and his mission was to defeat Xiaoshan to prove that he doesn't need a woman to protect him. Despite all attempts, he is defeated by Xiaoshan's fantasies. Everyone laughed at him, making him go berserk.
