Bai Ling Tan

During the first week of 'Bai Ling Tan,' we get to witness the connection between lonely god Chun Yao and Princess Han Sheng.

During the first week of Bai Ling Tan, we are introduced to lonely god and guardian Chun Yao who's in charge of safekeeping the demons in the lake so as to not disrupt the peace on Earth.

In the first episode, Chun Yao is seen spending alone time as he guards the lake. Due to loneliness and boredom, he decided to make a faceless image from his own shadow. Although his new companion somehow alleviated his feelings of loneliness, he still felt alone.

Chun Yao then forms a deal with Si Mao, a demon, to help him give an image to his shadow. Using 108 breaths of immortality, the shadow turned into beautiful girl Han Tan. It didn't last long though and Si Mao betrayed Chun Yao by breaking the barrier of the lake.

Due to this unfortunate event, Chun Yao was punished by the gods and was turned into a half-god and half-mortal. Han Tan and his memories were all removed from his life as well. The gods declared that he and Han Tan will no longer see each other.

Han Tan, on the other hand, was reincarnated as the unlucky princess named Han Sheng. Labeled as cursed and ill-fated, she was sent away from the palace to marry in a faraway land.

Although fate has kept them away from each other, the two still manage to cross paths with Han Sheng being able to land at Bai Ling Tan. Will Chun Yao be able to remember the image he created from his shadow?
