Local beauty pageant uplifts confidence of Bajau moms.
In celebration of International Women's Month this March, Bajau community in Bongao, Tawi-tawi held a beauty pageant for Bajau moms on Sunday, March 8.
The pageant was organized by the nuns of Bajau Village Learning Center Inc., a school especially for Bajau kids.
According to the organizers, the event aims to uplift the confidence of Bajau moms.
Meanwhile, the rare event was joined by five candidates and the winner received a crown and a cash prize.
