Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza traveled all the way to Sta. Rosa, Laguna for the grand opening of Alden Richards' new fast-food restaurant.
The Asia's Multimedia Star's latest business venture honors the rich history of the Philippines, with the McDonald's branch housed in a building reminiscent of Filipino ancestral homes from the 19th century.
In an Instagram video, Barbie commended her good friend Alden for keeping the original structure of the place, which gives off an Intramuros vibe.
“Ang ganda na hindi niya iniba 'yung pinaka-structure nung place. So, talagang na-maintain 'yung reputation nung buong area. Very Intramuros ang feels,” Barbie said.
Meanwhile, the Kapuso primetime actor shared in a speech that the McDonald's branch is more than just a celebration of new beginnings.
“So, this opening is not just about a new store; it's about honoring the past, serving the present, and building a future rooted in community. Maraming-maraming salamat po,” he said.
Alden and Barbie last worked together in the historic mega-serye Pulang Araw in 2024. The two were also previously cast members of the teen romance-drama series Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts.
Their former co-stars Kristoffer Martin and Bea Binene were also spotted at the opening of the actor's new McDonald's branch, along with Sparkle GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia.
