
Barbie Forteza has achieved a new milestone in her acting career.
The Kapuso Primetime Princess shared photos on Instagram, announcing that she is now a proud member of AKTOR - League of Filipino Actors.
“I am finally an official member of @aktorph,” she wrote.
As a passionate actress, Barbie is proud to be part of a movement that supports the craft she loves.
“I am proud & honored to be part of this league of actors who share the same passion & dedication to the craft,” she expressed.
“An organization that pushes for protection in the workplace and better opportunities for its members,” she added.
AKTOR - League of Filipino Actors is a SEC-registered organization that supports Filipino actors by providing a community-driven platform focused on advocacy, growth, and connection. AKTOR offers a space for actors, mostly independent contractors, to support one another, improve their craft, and promote professionalism in the industry.
The organization's board of directors includes Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, Agot Isidro, Iza Calzado, Piolo Pascual, Cherry Pie Picache, Mylene Dizon, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
Other notable members include Gabby Eigenmann, Charo Santos-Concio, Shamaine Buencamino, Tirso Cruz III, and many more.
Barbie is set to star in the upcoming film Until She Remembers alongside Charo Santos-Concio, Angel Aquino, and Albert Martinez, premiering in cinemas nationwide on February 25, 2026.
