Barbie Forteza has just launched her first episode of Coffee Talk with Barbie Forteza, a sit-down interview series on her YouTube Channel.

According to Barbie, the concept was inspired by her dream of being on a talk show.

"I've always wanted to have my own talk show where I can ask the people who inspire me how they do what they do and to get to know them personally. Of course, my talk show will not be complete without my favorite drink, COFFEE!!!

She added, "I just want to share na I'm super excited because isa talaga ito sa dream vlog segments ko. Sana magtuloy tuloy. A talk show, with a personal touch."

For her first guest, Barbie invited none other than Bea Alonzo for a heart-to-heart chat.

Bea recalled their first encounter, a few years before she transferred to GMA in 2021.

"Gusto ko rin i-share 'yung unang beses na nagkita tayo, sa Shangri-La Mall. Tapos nasa gadget store ako. 'Paglabas ko ng gadget store may babaeng maputi na lumalapit sa akin, sabi 'Hi, Ms. Bea, ako po si Barbie, gusto ko po sana kayo makilala sa personal at gusto ko po magpa-picture.'

"Sobrang na-appreciate ko 'yun," Bea shared.

When it comes to working with ex-boyfriends, Bea said she only has one ex she cannot work with. As for Barbie, she prefers to keep exes in the past and not work with them again. "I tend to hold grudges na rin. Kasi parang, 'O, eto 'yung sinayang mo, hindi mo na 'to makukuha ulit.' Medyo immature, pero ibigay n'yo na sa'kin."

Barbie remembered a past relationship gone wrong, "Sobrang best foot forward nung umpisa, tapos nung naging kayo na... nasaan na 'yung foot?

She joked, "Nawala yung foot e, umatras e!"

While the two actresses have no confirmed project together yet, Barbie got curious about what kind of show Bea would want if they were to become co-stars.

"Kung bibigyan po ako ng chance na maka-work kayo, ano pong gagawin natin," Barbie asked.

Bea shared she wants something that promotes womanhood. "Kung ako mag-dedecide ng magiging soap natin together, gusto ko about women empowerment, it can be like Little Women, ganyan."

She also commended Barbie for being always enthusiastic despite long taping schedules. "Si Barbie, siya talaga 'yung bumubuhay sa amin sa mga All-Out Sundays at Lazada shows namin kahit late na natatapos. Iba ka, girl! Iba ang energy bank mo."
