Barbie Forteza participated in two different run for a cause events last weekend, "Iba talaga ang push 'pag may pinaglalaban!"

Barbie Forteza is really enjoying her running era as she completed 10k and 5k runs in two different events last weekend.

After setting a personal record after another, the Kapuso artist shared in an interview with GMANetwork.com what motivated her to begin her fitness journey through running.

The Kapuso Primetime Princes said, "Sobra n'yang inspiring na ipagpatuloy pa itong librangan lang no'ng umpisa tapos ngayon marami pala s'yang naidudulot not just for my health and my well-being but also for the children and other people's future."

Last Saturday, April 12, Barbie joined a run for a cause event for the benefit of Save The Children Philippines which she is an ambassador of together with David LIcauco, where she completed the 10-kilometer segment in one hour and 15 minutes.

According to Barbie, running can be tiring, but its benefits outweigh any exhaustion.

She said, "Honestly, there were moments when I wanted to stop but I kept thinking about why I was doing it in the first place and it pushed me to finish all 10k. Legs are tired, but my heart is full."
