Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza is still in disbelief with the numerous positive reviews and feedbacks her primetime series Maria Clara at Ibarra is getting from everyone.

Barbie portrays the role of Klay, a Gen Z nursing student in GMA-7's historical portal fantasy series.

The talented actress-vlogger recently talked to Kapamilya TV host and vlogger Ogie Diaz on his Showbiz Update YouTube channel and she talked about the success of her show with Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo.

She told Diaz in his vlog, “Hindi ko po ma-describe how exactly I feel right now, kasi po, hindi rin naman po talaga namin inaasahan na magiging ganito kalaki at kainit ang pagtanggap sa amin ng audience. So, parang lahat din nagulat, lahat din talagang nasa cloud nine ngayon to receive such good feedbacks from everyone.”

In addition, Barbie also shared what was her main goal in portraying Klay.

“Isa sa mga ikinatataba po ng puso ko ngayon ay bukod sa siyempre marami po humanga, e, maraming naka-relate.

“At maraming, naapektuhan sa karakter ni Klay, dahil 'yun naman din po talaga ang ginoal ko nung ginawa ko po 'yung karakter ni Klay na gusto ko siya maging as real as possible.

“Gusto ko talagang, maging totoong tao siya para kapitan talaga siya ng tao. Para makisimpatiya sa kaniya, para sundan 'yung journey niya sa loob ng Noli.”
