Barbie Forteza on running: "It made me realize that running isn't just a hobby now but a newfound purpose."
Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza has officially marked a fitness milestone with her first fun run.
On Instagram, Barbie shared a series of photos from her first 5km fun run. She completed the run at a pace of 7:03/km and finished in 35 minutes and 25 seconds.
Barbie shared that she is happy with the fun run she attended, as the proceeds of the event will benefit children suffering from cancer.
"It made me realize that running isn't just a hobby now but a new found purpose," she added. "I'll be participating on more charity fun runs for sure!"
The Kapuso actress ran with her fellow Kapuso star Alden Richards and Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto.
In the comments section, Sparkle's First Vice President Joy Marcelo and fellow Kapuso stars Juancho Trivino and Rochelle Pangilinan congratulated Barbie on her first fun run.
Barbie has been active lately in physical activities, especially running, and often runs with Alden and Kristoffer Martin.
Recently, the actress revealed her new look and proudly flaunted her short hair on Instagram with the caption, "She's ready."
