Pageant fans and aficionados have a chance to see the send-off party for Biibining Pilipinas International Nicole Borromeo.

Filipino pageant aficionados looking to support another one of the country's beauty queens have an opportunity to do so next week as the Binibining Pilipinas organization has announced the send-off for Binibining Pilipinas International Nicole Borromeo.

In a post on the Binibining Pilipinas official Instagram account, the Binibining Pilipinas organization shared that the official send-off party for Nicole Borromeo will be held on September 27, 4 p.m. at the Gateway Mall 2 Quantum Skyview. The party will also be streamed live on the Binibining Pilipinas official YouTube channel.

Nicole is looking to surpass the performance of Binibining Pilipinas International Hannah Arnold, who made it all the way to the Top 15 of the Miss International pageant.

Hannah had the full support of the country behind her, with two send-offs organized for her before her flight to Japan. The Department of Science and Technology organized a send-off for her that she called “beautiful and heartwarming” and moved her to promise that she would raise the flag not only of the country but science and technology as well.

Before the start of the pageant, Hannah had revealed her national costume on Instagram. Designed by Manny Halasan, the costume was inspired by a Barbie doll wearing Filipiniana that Hannah had as a child, as well as Manny Halasan's own fond memories of his grandfather's antique tambourine.
