Bea Alonzo covid

Bea Alonzo has since recovered after contracting the coronavirus in early January. Learn about her experience here:

Bea Alonzo opened up about her COVID-19 ordeal as she encouraged the public to get boosted protection against the virus.

“The start of this year was challenging. I caught COVID in early January, just like most people [during] the COVID-19 surge. And at that time, I was also struggling with the worst muscle spasm, all while getting ready for my dream shoot and a brand endorsement I never thought would happen,” she shared in an Instagram post on Tuesday, February 8.

The Kapuso gem then recalled the difficulties she encountered upon contracting the virus, saying, “It was a challenging moment. I got most of the symptoms and I was having a hard time breathing. But I survived!”

With the hope of collectively ending the pandemic, Bea also urged her fans and followers to get their COVID-19 booster shots just as she received hers last Monday, February 7.
