Bea Alonzo says she was her own makeup artist for her bridal look.
Bea Alonzo's wedding became even more special after she revealed that she did her own bridal makeup for her big day.
On Instagram Stories, the newly married actress shared a photo of herself doing her makeup and explained why she chose to do it herself.
"I don't normally do my own makeup for special occasions, but for my wedding day, it just felt more personal," she said.
The Whispers From Heaven actress also expressed how proud she was to have done her own makeup after years of being glammed up by her trusted makeup artists.
"Years of sitting in Ms. Ting's and Varda's chairs... I hope I made my teachers proud," she wrote.
For her hair, Bea gave a special shoutout to her hairstylist for stepping in at the last minute.
"Special shoutout to my hairstylist, Gayumanag, who said yes to a last-minute SOS without hesitation. Love you," she said.
The actress also revealed that they did not have a wedding photographer during their civil wedding.
"We didn't have a wedding photographer, so my Shobe ©brinasecosana stepped in and captured these memories. Pwede ka na talagang maging professional photographer!" Bea shared.
Bea and business tycoon Vincent Co tied the knot in a civil wedding on July 13 at Makati City Hall. The ceremony was officiated by Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay.
