Kapuso actress Bea Binena tries comedy on the big screen as she joins the wacky cast of the family-oriented comedy movie Ang Sikreto ng Piso.
The movie is topbilled by real life couple Gelli De Belen and Ariel Rivera, who's back in a movie together after 22 years.
Bea is thankful for being part of the cast and got to work with Ariel and Gelli, along with seasoned and funny comedians like Lou Veloso, Long Mejia, Ricky Rivero, Beverly Salviejo, and Wacky Kiray.
Bea's role in this wholesome comedy movie is Leonor Guevarra, a pretty and kind grade school teacher, who is very close to her students.
Her parents, played by Ricky Rivero and Joyce Peñas Pilarsky, own a junkshop business and a competitor of the Biglang-Awa family [Ariel and Gelli].
One more thing that Bea is thankful for in being a cast member of Ang Sikreto ng Piso is her visibility in the movie scene, especially for her loyal fans who stood by her all these years.
After her late morning series on GMA, Kapag Naghati ang Puso, she has yet to start a new teleserye.
“I just do one teleserye a year,” admits Bea.
Her fans are wishing that GMA gives her even guest appearances in the new shows of the Kapuso network.
Bea told the press that she wants to do more roles, so she hopes to be more visible on television this year.
Meanwhile, Ang Sikreto ng Piso also features one of the newest child stars of GMA, Angelica Ulip, who was part of the hit afternoon series titled Ika-6 Na Utos.
The family-oriented comedy movie is written by Perry Escaño and Robert "Abet" Raz and directed by Perry Escaño.
Others in the cast are Nico Nicolas, Ernie Garcia, Raphael Robes, Paul Sy, Garry Lim, Kiel Rodriguez, Gomz Burza, Micah Musa, Kim Llono, Amberlicious, Abel Napuran, Alvin Barcelona and Joyce Peñas Pilarsky, who's likewise the executive producer.
From JPP Dreamworld Productions and MPJ Entertainment Productions, Ang Sikreto Ng Piso will open in cinemas on Wednesday, January 30.
