Bea Borres expresses gratitude for the love and support her family and friends has given during this new chapter in her life.

Content creator Bea Borres recently surprised the internet with her pregnancy announcement.

As a young, first-time mom, Bea openly admitted to having mixed emotions about the life-changing news. On top of her pregnancy, she's currently pursuing Interdisciplinary Studies at Ateneo de Manila University.

In a recent Reel on her social media, Bea once again shared the struggles she faced on learning the news. This time, she took the time to express gratitude to her family and friends who played a big part in giving her the courage to enter this next chapter of her life.

"Just wanna share the importance of having a great support system," she wrote in the captions. "Before my vlog, this was the first video I made to announce my pregnancy [and I know] it's been days but this has been a long journey of acceptance."

While she admitted to being scared at first, Bea said she gradually accepted her pregnancy with the encouragement of her loved ones.

"Thank you to my family and friends who have been nothing but supportive and accepting. I'm one of the lucky few to have such a strong support system," she continued.

At the same time, Bea shared a reminder to her followers.

"[By the way], I just want to make it clear that being a young mom shouldn't be normalized. To my young girl audience, please always practice being safe. I just really got lucky because I have a great support system."

In the video, Bea gave fans a raw look into her unfiltered journey. She revealed how anxiety weighed heavily on her at first, even admitting "I couldn't eat properly, I really had to force myself to get up" and "I felt so ugly and I felt like I was losing my spark."

But with the support of family and friends, Bea slowly regained her confidence and spent more time with loved ones, continuing her career in showbiz, also even looking forward to learning her baby's gender.

Bea first confirmed her pregnancy in an emotional vlog last August 12, where she also vowed to finish her college degree amid the news.

Soon after, the internet star confirmed the identity of her baby's father, following her ex-boyfriend's online admission.

"I don't know if reading comprehension [n'yo] or maybe mali lang or kulang lang ako ng pagkasabi, but it means I never revealed sa public na siya 'yung dad," she said."Wala rin akong intention or anything, wala talaga akong balak magsalita na sabihin siya 'yung tatay. But there you go."
