Content creator and expectant mom Bea Borres shared her two cents on Jillian Ward's viral interview with Boy Abunda.
The Star of the New Gen bravely faced the King of Talk to finally put an end to the issue and clarify the fake news circulating online about her having a “sugar daddy.”
Jillian also addressed the malicious rumors linking her to former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson. “Never ko po siyang nakilala, never ko po siyang na-meet, never ko siyang nakausap, never po kaming nagkita. So hindi ko talaga alam kung paano po nila nagawa-gawa lahat ng ito kasi never ko po talaga siyang na-meet, never ko po siyang nakausap,” she told Fast Talk.
After watching the interview, Bea Borres expressed her disappointment over how some people still refuse to accept that a woman like Jillian can succeed on her own.
She wrote on Facebook, “Read/watched Jillian Ward's interview about her having a 'sugar daddy,' and the truth is, society just hates it when a woman succeeds on her own.”
Bea added that she can relate to what the Sparkle actress is going through.
“As someone who's been through the same accusations before, I'll never understand why it's so hard to believe that a woman can actually make it without a man backing her up.
“I love my dad, but he once told me I needed a man to make it. So every time I visit his grave, I tell him, 'I'm doing it, Dad. I'm thriving and building my own assets all on my own.'”
