Bea Millan-Windorski officially returns to the pageant stage as she joins the Miss Universe Philippines 2026.

In a recent social media update, beauty queen Bea Millan-Windorski confirmed her participation in the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 competition, accompanied by photos of her donning the La Union representative sash.

“All for ElyU!” Bea wrote in the caption.

According to Bea, it is a joyful honor to represent the province of La Union on the pageant stage because of its deep sentimental value to her. It is the place where her grandparents live and where she would frequently visit as a child.

“It's an honor to represent the province I grew up visiting my lola and lolo,” she wrote.

The beauty queen also admitted that La Union is what made her fall in love with the country and is the place where she once dreamed of building a life.

According to Bea, many of her most unforgettable childhood memories were formed there, particularly along the province's famed beaches.

A long-time volunteer for the San Juan-based sea turtle conservation group, Bea also shared her dedication in protecting the pawikans in the province.

“La Union is where I fell in love with the Philippines and developed my dream of building a life here,” Bea shared.

“Some of my fondest childhood memories come from exploring the surf of San Juan Beach, collecting corals with my kapatid Sunny, and volunteering to protect my beloved pawikan with Project CURMA,” she added.

Bea also highlighted that in this year's competition, she is proudly carrying her great-grandmother's name, a hardworking woman whose legacy she continues to celebrate and uphold.

“I proudly carry the name of my great lola Beatriz, a widowed mother and sari-sari owner who sent her two daughters through school on her own,” Bea wrote.

Bea considers it a true privilege to carry the heritage of her province, La Union, onto the national stage.

“I am now also honored to represent my Elyucana identity and ancestral roots by carrying the title of Miss Universe Philippines - La Union,” she expressed.
