American beauty content creator James Charles hopped in on the fun as he recently did Darren Espanto's viral performance.
On Tiktok, James uploaded a video of himself wearing an all-black outfit with a white belt and lip synced to Darren's version of the song "Maui Wowie" by American rapper Kid Cudi.

The singer and It's Showtime host reposted James' video on his TikTok account. In the comments section, some netizens noticed that the Filipino singer's version of the song sounded as if James himself had sung it.
Prior to this, Darren recreated his viral performance on TikTok and James left a comment saying, "I NEED TO SING WITH YOU."

Darren's "Maui Wowie" performance went viral and various celebrities and personalities recreated it online.
